Chuska

Chuska Apartments combines 10 permanent supportive housing units for chronically homeless families and 20 permanent affordable housing units for families at or below 60% of the area median income. Chuska Apartments includes one-story residential buildings with a mixture of two- and three-bedroom apartments. The project features a number of green design elements, including use of day lighting, non-toxic materials, solar energy, and native and drought-tolerant plants. An on-site SHCNM Service Coordinator provides resources and programming for residents. The apartments feature a community room, computer with internet for resident use during regular business hours, playground, fire pit and picnic area.
