What a person who is homeless needs most first and foremost is a HOME! The Supportive Housing Coalition of New Mexico (SHC-NM) exists to help people get off the streets and into affordable and supportive housing.

Donovan Smith is an 11-year old boy whose family obtained an apartment-home through SHC-NM. Donovan and his mother Casey begun a small bath products business called ‘Toil & Trouble.’ They realize the role the Supportive Housing Coalition’s presence plays in the lives of many who are in homeless or near homeless situations so Donovan made a decision to start donating 50% of his specialty pie soaps to SHC-NM. Since they started their donations, Donovan has contributed over $500 toward the Supportive Housing Coalition of New Mexico.

Between November 17th and January 15th, the Supportive Housing Coalition of New Mexico is partnering with Toil & Trouble for a Home for the Holidays Campaign.
